SA’s Prick(s) of the Year – 2011

The year 2011 will go down in history for many things. It was a year of revolution not seen since the 1960’s – i.e. Arab Spring and the Occupy Wall Street Movement. It was a year of unprecedented climate-related disasters and geological upheaval. It was the year that human population reached 7-Billion. It was the year that Osama Bin Laden met his demise and the senseless war in Iraq came to an end.

2011 was also the “year of the right-wing pricks”. In 2008, the greedy crapitalist republitards brought the global economy to the brink of collapse. In 2010, the brain-dead republican voters rewarded them by electing the most extreme and reprehensible republicants they could find to sit in the House of Representatives where this “party of NO” brought the wheels of government to a grinding halt. Instead of trying to work with the president to bring us out of the worst recession in 80 years, they only made things worse. They fomented class warfare by further enriching the wealthy and sucking the life out of the middle class. They have pooped on the flag, on the constitution, and on the American people.

The short list of right-wing pricks that deserve the coveted Prick-of-the-Year award alone would be: In Congress, Mitch McConnell, Eric Cantor, Paul Ryan, Jim DeMint, and John “bonehead” Boehner; On the Supreme Court, Chief Justice John Roberts, and justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas; the entire lineup of extremist morons currently running for president; everyone who works for Fox News; Rush Limbaugh and his audience; and the right-wing sheeple who vote republican without understanding the harm they cause in doing so.

Taking all this into account, I feel there is no ONE s.o.b. who deserves the Prick-of-the-Year award over any other. There are too many pricks and just one award. Therefore, for every politician with an “R” after his or her name, every tea-bagger, and every voter that slops at the trough of right-wing hate-speech… this award goes to you. Sit on it!
