Republicans are NOT Your Friends

October 8, 2010
Does the top row have anything in common with the bottom row?

Is your annual salary in 7 digits or more? Do you defend everyone’s right to trash the planet? Do you believe that ONLY rich people should have access to health care and pay NO taxes?

If your answer to any of the above questions is NO, then conservative republicans are NOT your friends. They couldn’t care less about you and would just as soon you ceased to exist… except for the fact that large numbers of you continue to vote for them. Why? Because the sheeple among you have been brainwashed by the likes of Beck, Limbaugh and Palin.

In 2009 Glenn Beck Earned $32 Million. Rush Limbaugh earned $30 million. And since retiring as Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin has hauled in $12 Million. What could these people possibly have in common with you?

The Democratic Party is the party of the people. Republicans are the party of the rich. To thinking people this simplistic delineation is crystal clear. Yes, the national debt is nearly $13 Trillion but it was $11.5 Trillion when Obama came into office – thanks to George W. Bush, and his rubber-stamp republican congress who increased it by $4 Trillion over eight years. And that didn’t even include the $3 Trillion cost of two wars! Bush conveniently kept them off the budget but Obama honestly included them. For you misguided voters who badly need a refresher course on how the republican Bush administration plundered our economy, read this March 2008 article:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/07/AR2008030702846.html
Note that this was written 6 months before the economic meltdown.

Yes, government spending is out of control, but Bush and the republicans (who refused to regulate the financial industry) caused the biggest global recession ever. Then they handed it off to Obama four months later. Such a huge problem requires government intervention and stimulation. Had Obama spent nothing, we’d be in the middle of the Great Depression II with 20+% unemployment. Republicans try to make you think that they’re the responsible ones by repeatedly pushing tax cuts for the rich and trying to deny unemployment benefits to people like you. We might be well on the road to recovery by now if the republicans hadn’t blocked Obama’s efforts at every turn.

It’s scary to imagine how screwed we all will be if these angry, irresponsible people regain power in November. They MUST be stopped! If you ever want to see prosperity in America again, Democrats and independents must turn out in droves and vote the straight-Democratic ticket in the voting booth. Otherwise, kiss your ass goodbye.
